There have been times when I wondered if this day would come but am very pleased to say that registration is now open for our 2021 User Event in the Dorchester Library and Council Chamber at the Royal College of Physicians on Thursday 18 November. This will be an in-person event. To say we are looking forward to seeing our clients again face-to-face is an understatement!
The day will provide an opportunity for SARD users to meet and share best practice. There will also be updates from SARD about our latest improvements and products, as well as a talk from Professor Joe McDonald who is a Consultant Psychiatrist, former CCIO of Cumbria, Northumberland, Tyne and Wear, Founder of the Great North Care Record and now Chair of Public Money, Public Code CIC. Lunch will be provided.
Although we intend to operate the event within the capacity set by the venue, we will obviously be adhering to any COVID safety guidelines in place at the time and therefore places will be issued on a first come, first served basis. If we (I really hope not!) find ourselves in the unfortunate position of having to reduce numbers at short notice, then later registrations will instead be offered a place at our virtual event on Monday 22 November (details below).
We want to ensure that the benefits of this event are accessible to all and will be running an online version of the event via Teams on Monday 22 November. This will follow the same agenda as the in-person event and include screenings of the talks and presentations given. We hope this provides an option to still gain the benefits of our popular user events for those who are unable to attend in person.
Please email firstname.lastname@example.org to register to attend either in-person, or online.
